Just out of curiousity, are there any Z32 parts that can be used on the M30. I've been thinking of getting a daily driver and old school luxury would be nice 1991 infiniti M30 ! it's auto but I've beleive it has a FR layout. I cant seem to find much info on these cars online, and I've been searching thru the day. Engine is 3 liter and has leather that's all I know. If I pick one up I definately will be trying to get it sideways!!!

The Infiniti M30 is mechanically closer to the Z31 or S12 than to the Z32 or S13.
It's a big heavy car with a 160hp VG30E and an automatic... but a VG30ET should drop right in. I believe it already has an LSD.
Parts are scarce though... the M30 is a rare car and not aimed at enthusiasts.

IIRC, the M30 shares a lot with the Z31. yeah theyre mostly if not all auto, and FR. the Leopard is a cool car, but not super common. a 240 guy here bought one not too long ago, and took it to DS. he sold it though, but i think he wants to get another one.

i hear RB20DET is a pretty easy swap as well. not too strange to see an SR swap either.

yeah, since it's pretty much a Z31 under the skin... the Z31 had the RB20DET in Japan. That'd be pretty kick ***, especially if you could get some Z31 aftermarket suspension stuff to fit.

If our looking for a car that is related to the Z32 you can get the J30. It has the VG30DE out of the NA Z in it.

Thanks for all your input guys! So it's parts are compatible w/ Z31 not bad. I have to be on a super low budget for a used car and the J30 is too expensive. I figure that I would spend less money in getting one of these than a Z '71-73 plus I would most likely swap an RB25det in the M30 which could be had relatively cheap. So Leopard is the name cool almost like Cefiro as far as style in a way minus the front end. I'll check into your leads

Ooohh It all sound really good. But I definately need to get the car first then I'll trouble you all again with ideas. It will be a few months but I think I've made my choice. I'll bring this thread up again after I bring an M30 home. My lady likes the old Z cars but the timing is not right for it now, that would be a whole new project of its own;)
