does anyone have any ideas on how to more efficiently remove the noise deadening material from under the driver and passenger seats ? Scraping is taking forever and I don't have power tools at the moment. Maybe a chemical ? Heat gun ? Dunno....throw me a clue

Im pretty sure you can just use dry ice and a hammer. I saw it in this video on youtube:
YouTube - removing tar based sound deadening from floorboards (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fbb5dD98b5s).
Ive never done it that way, but it looks pretty easy.

i did this to mine.. by hand.... then found out about the dry ice nonsense.... fail on my part. but i found that a good coat of goof-off helped with the remaining hard to get to areas. just make sure you have very very good ventilation.

dry ice, you'll still have to scrape and chip it off but it makes it'll work
