By what he wrote I think he is the original owner, and he prolly doesnt want to buy a used s15. Either way it was his car, and no matter what happens he grew attached to it and lost it. Its like if your pet dies and you get a new one, its still a pet but not the one you grew to love.
Most dealers would give you a new car if something like that would hapen, similar thing happened to a friend but its a longer story and involves more people, but he got himself a brand new car.

I see a new, loaded Z350 and 50 thousand dollars in his forecast.
I would accept nothing less.
I could do a Bill Roberts. He would not like that.
Gosh, what a pretty car it was. Such a shame for sophmoronic phuckwads to get hold of your car.
If you take your car to a dealer, tell them...I have no collision, under no circumstances shall anyone take this car on the street. I am the customer and I shall perform the test drive and report my findings. And they sign it. I did that 4 times already, anticipating such rubbish.
Makes me angry thinking of it actually, a royal shame.
The 874HP supra was cool..

I can hear it now:
Dealer in British accent:
Sir, I am sad to inform you that your car got into an unfortant incident. before I explain, lets just say, pick anything off the lot and use it at our expense until we can assume the prompt business of making things correct for you.
Car Owner: So, what kind of incident are you speaking of and may I see my car?
Dealer, Sir, I would rather you did not right now. Our mechanic was breaking our rules of conduct, I am afraid it is a total loss. You may see it after our inspectors give it a thourgh going over.
Car Owner:
That is quite alright, shall I return say around.. Tea time?
Dealer. That would be quite fine sir and our deepest apologies.
Owner: My Legal staff should contact who sir?
USA.
Hey man, I came to get my car, where is it?
Dude, our formally employed mechanic totalled it and he is in the hospital now from all of us kicking his effing a$$. Dude, before you get mad, take this 350Z until we get the insurance taken care of and I have some paperwork for you to sign. Your car is over here, look what the dumbphuck did!!
Owner, (off guard at this time).....Well you can bet I want some a$$ and I want it now....I hope you did a good job of kicking his can...now let me call my lawyer....blahblah..

I am not sure, UK has different plates, some yellow some white, dont know if there is a diff in size or anything.
Since I have been looking for a way to whore this two-tone f/b pic, here ya go. You can see both white and yellow plates. I have yet to get lplate system over there.

Pretty sure it's Australia, one of the few places they call the trunk the boot and spell it tyres. Do they even have S15s in the UK? I know they do for sure in Australia.
oberkill

They also call it a boot and spell tires the same way in Britian. That plate in the background looks British as well. So my guess is Britain. LOL I did live there for 3 years but its been a few years.
You can get Single car exceptions in Britain and bring in just about any car you want! So Japan only cars are fairly easy to come by there.

That doesnt officially rule out the possibilities of an S15 there, I have seen quite a few, but after searching for fairfield east and cockburn, I got Australia, so I am gonna assume it is an aussie site.
But with UK one thing that ticks me off, is every S14 and zenki s13 has the OEM lip on it, I have loads of pics from UK and all have lips, but the people over there don't like two tones so:p

Well yea...someone can import one...but I really don't see why. I know they don't have them over there because I asked someone that lives in the UK.

Look at his plates again...much narrower than the ones you posted. The ones in your image are European plates. The ones he had on his S15 were from somewhere else.

It's definitely Australian. The plates match, and the car is called a 200SX, which is what it was imported as in Australia. So, Land of the 'roo, no question 'bout it, mates.

i heard a similar story about a new mechanic working at a BMW dealership i work at. he flipped a customers brand new E30 M3 on a "test drive". needless to say, the guy got fired, and sued, probably shot.

well if they had s15s in uk it would be called a 200sx, australia is to UK like canada is to us. Just a few diffs, but generally the same. But it is Australia if you search the location on the main page.

I'm assuming that he is going to go for another car. He doesn't even do his own oil changes. He seems like a new car kinda guy to me but I could be wrong.
