Ladies and Gentlemen, it's my pleasure to announce the 3rd round of ThunderDrift's 2010 Pro Am series!

The event will be held on Wednesday June 30th, at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, Ca. Mandatory Drivers meeting starts promptly at 8:30AM, and drivers will hit the track for practice at 9:00.

This course features a steep downhill into the first initiation, then a technical transition into a long off-camber sweeper, and a downhill transfer into a legendary circle-track style finish. The end of the judging area may be adjusted based on how well cars are able to make the final transfer during practice.

If you haven't joined the points race yet, it may be too late to qualify for Pro Am Nationals, but it isn't too late to start practicing for next year's season!

Here's a vid of the track in the "normal" direction. Pardon the shitty editing as I didn't do any. Driving was from round 2 of the Thunderdrift ProAm series this year. Everyone should come out and drive, if not at least watch!

The camera is on Luke Lonberger's Turbo LS1 S14, the following car is Ryan Kado in his SR S14. Ryan went onto win this session and eventually the round. Here the standings for the series thus far.

Hmm Yea I didn't test it, I figured my shitty comp couldn't play it (it usually can't play vimeo shit while I'm at work). Heres a link.

^ thanks!

Just a reminder, the bodywork rule is in effect as of round 3! You MUST start the event with a hood, doors, and front/rear bumpers.

To lessen the blow of this news, I've included some cool videos of previous rounds you should take a moment to watch. They're pretty sweet!
