View Full Version : whats it going to take to send a complete car to the states from Japan where im at?

i want to know if anyone has tried importing an entire car before and what tips you guys have, if any on getting them back to the states. I just found a clean 93 skyline for $1800 and it runs like a champ. The previous owner has done a lot of work to it. But thats besides the point. What do i need to do to get it home?

pull the motor and put it and the car in a container if they are seperated than you dont have the import problems of bringing in a running "car" getting it street legal is the main issue and with a skyline it probably wont happen without the help of motorex
