okay, just to clarify, I did search, ALOT for for the answer to my problem
so I start my car and it it revs up to about 2000, and stays there for the most part with in a few hounded RPMS and when i go to rev it it wont go above 3500. so I checked for for vacuum leaks,I had none, I pulled the oil pump out and moved it one spline, and when did that it idled at about 1100 RPMs and has even worse throttle response... so i moved it back. and checked the MAF too. its not the maf. put a new dizzy in and new cap and wires, none of that stuff helped. any ideas would be helpful.
THANKS!

if u turn your car on and unplug ur, i bet there wont be any difference on how it sounds and wont rev past 3500 still. my car did the same wen my mafs went bad.
so like ^^^^^ he said CHECK IT AGAIN lol

okay,i just checked AGAIN, and its the same. i even tried starting the car with the MAF un plugged, and it wont start, but when i plug it in, it starts up but revs wayyy up!
should i try to mess with the TPS? but i dont have a calibrator or what ever.

the thing is, I had an engine in with this exact same set up like a week ago, it just had a blown HG so i put this new engine in, so the ecu and all of that stuff should be fine...thats why im so stumped.. Also i have had this problem befor and messing with the oil pump was the answer to the problem.

Are any of you reading this shit?, well...it makes no sense. Someone vouch for him i'll help him fix his shit. Or logically he could get another engine.

ended up being a vacuum leak, and I put a different IACV and that was it.but now the over flow hose shoots steam out..and no its not the HG or the rad cap...could it be the radiator it self?
