s14 aftermarket exhaust touching gas tank heat shield dangerous?

just wondering if any of you know that if its touching the heatshield is that too close? does it get hot enough to start a fire. i noticed alot of fiberglass insulation or whatever it is sandwiched inbetween the two. I dont want to have to raise the back of my car because i really enjoy how low it is now.
Also it is the middle muffler or resonator of the megan catback 3 inch exhaust do they get pretty hot?

I doubt you'll get that exhaust hot enough to ignite anything, unless your riding a bee*r for a couple miles...

mine is 3" straightpipe and it's cut off just after where it goes under the axle, flames and fireballs sometimes no issues.

You should be fine. It doesn't get insanely hot back there. But if it bothers you, fix it.
