View Full Version : questions about front 93 maxuma FWD spindels on s13

ok at my work i was pulling motor out of a 93 maxuma fwd V6.
front shocks look same as s13.
front spindels look same other than fwd hub... and i read about maxumas use same ball joint as s13 ( dont know 100% ) but not for use with awd or anything.
could front spindel from maxuma work on s13 for 5lug maybe?? or am i just crazy to think this ....

All I can say is give it a try. You might have to use the brakes and such. Real quick you could measure the shock mounting holes.

ok i put it next to my s13 hatch i have top where shock go's look same bottom ball joint is same but steering arm mount is near top not on bottom like s13 u think i could still use it with steering up that high?

Not without severe bump steer correction. Pics of the two side by side?

Im not expert on FWD setups but dont the CV axles on FWD cars are what hold the Hub bearing and spindal assembly together?
With out it I think it will grenade when you take a turn

and ya that what i was thinking to CV axles mite need to be there to hold
i can get a pair of bad one and add them :)
