I'll be upfront and start with the price.
It's $8,500 Firm Cash. I'm located in the LA area.
If you think the price is unfair, then it is...to you. Now please go away and don't shit on my thread.
•No checks
•No "I get paid next week hold it for me"
•The price is not $8,499.99 and 100 McDonalds coupons that are worth 1/100th of a cent
•No trades for your bike or a project car
•No life time supply of cheetos because you work at the factory.
•I don't want an 82" tv or 73 Playstation games.
I WILL except:
•Offers for other CLEAN, RUNNING cars but I'm most interested in money to pay my bills.
I might part things out, but that's a huge might. I could use another car and a few small increments of $300 isn't going to pay for my house.
Car has only been above 6k RPM once and I drive very conservatively.
It's never seen the track.
I don't drift it.
I've never done a donut.
I don't do standstills.
It's my daily.
Reason I'm selling. READ PLZ
I live with my dad and and it's just him and I. I've been going to school for about 3 years now with my dad having lost his job a year and a half ago (No work for construction workers). I'm 1 semester away from finishing which is about 6k to support me through it. I can't finish my last 5 month semester because my dad stopped getting unemployment. We llive in a place (California) where my dad having 30 years experience in many areas of construction who is ready, able, and willing to work for low wages, can't.
So I'm trying to sell my 3+ year project I JUST finished a few months ago in efforts of giving it all to my dad so we could save our house which has 8 more years to be fully paid off. This is my pride and joy which I've worked on a lot in the last year because I've been too stubborn to get it painted and registered until all the little things were perfect.
He doesn't know I'm doing this and this surprise is really something he could use right now.
With this being said, please don't lowball me or rag on my car and how it could be 100x better with $6,000 bride seats or an RB26 ect. I tried my best, paid attention to detail to the best of my ability and used every last drop of extra money for the last few years to build this car.
I will promise you that every last penny of this sale will go to my father in order to help save our house.
♦1990 Nissan 240sx
Clean title, Recently smogged and tagged all ready to go.
Strait frame, worst car has seen is me hitting a curb and cracking the front bumper which prompted me into a 3+ year build that I wanted to do but didn't have a reason.
Motor is a redtop, with blacktop head. Swapped by Motorex back in the day.
Motor should have around 65k miles right now maybe less. Chassis has about 161k.
Everything in this car has been made to be a daily, but it's close to ready to be a track car if that's what floats your boat.
Since I haven't had the money, I've been inspecting and re-inspecting the car over the course of a long time to make sure the fitment for the hood, bumpers, door, ect are perfect. I've got everything pretty darn close, but the hood sticks up a fraction of an inch because of the dampers.
Small amounts of shaving has been done with a dremel tool in different areas to make things fit snug and with no play or rubbing, such as shaving the back bumper by the exhaust exit to make it precise and even on both sides since the bumper was created for a single tip. Also shaving on the skirts to make them fit snug and not like....well not like most sideskirts fit 240s.
A couple of nice and fun security things have been done, but that will only be disclosed once the buyer puts the cash in my hand.
Carpets and seats haven't been washed or vigorously cleaned, and for the most part are in excellent condition with the only flaw of the driverside carpet having a small rub spot by the foot part. Back carpets are also 180sx and in pristine condition. Rear seats are perfect, I just like to keep them folded down.
I've replaced tons of small stuff like fuses when redoing the electrical, igniter chip, got a new starter, changed valve cover gasket, got all new vacuum lines bolts here and there from the dealership and other things that are too small to name. I will just name the larger stuff that comes to mind.

My lizard friend saying hello. In this picture you can see some of the work I did to re-enforce the front bumper. This was before paint and sanding.
http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/2207/24114341400688898684258.jpg
This was a while back before the spacers, center garnish, new skirts, and 100 other things. Just to give you an idea of what it looks like with a little tint.
http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/8554/mycarphotoshoot134.jpg
Before I show the last of the recent pics I forgot to say Cons of which there are a few notable ones.
Cons:
• Car leaks a few drops of oil a week. I'm guessing it's coming from the front main seal. I've checked oil levels over the last couple months and haven't had to add any oil, it's never gone low, but I can see a few drops in my driveway.
•When putting in the S14 seatbelts, I cut the plastic with some shears instead of a clean rounded cut with the dremel. None of my friends have noticed, but it's not perfect and so I thought I should say it.
•The paint job isn't worth $3,000 but it's pretty good IMO.
•At really high speeds the steering wheel has a little bit of vibration. Probably normal, but thought I'd mention it. I did the alignment myself and matched it up the best I could which I thought was perfect, but a full on balanced professional alignment would help as the car moves a little to the right when you let go of the wheel. It's easily driveable without another alignment though.
•When redoing all the electrical in the car, I did everything but the radio. The car comes with an indash motorized LCD touchscreen that plays satellite radio, but it doesn't play sound. Not sure if it's the speakers, I just don't listen to music and I don't want to rip more stuff apart. It worked perfect before and it could just be a fuse or speakers or the radio idk. Easy fix if you like music while you drive. My car is my music =)
•The bottom side of the front bumperw wasn't painted after I went through 4 stages of sanding, primer, then more sanding. It was due to high issues and the gun, but it's almost impossible to see unless you put the car on jack stands and stick your head under there.
•In the engine bay, I have a few things tie strapped for placement. I like to keep things out of the way and secured as much as possible to the frame to eliminate any and all rattling. Dunno if it's a good or bad thing, just thought I'd mention it.
•Car doesn't have AC because it wasn't included in the swap.
That is pretty much everything I could think of.
Time for a few forgotten
Pros:
•Car is PLENTY Quick and I like it =)
•Alarm system is wired to a good deal of things and is very safe and convenient. I'll tell the buyer more.
•A few extra security measures have also been taken on top of the alarm. ;)
•If you like the kouki wing, it could look like this with some rims.
http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/2099/s13z.jpg
http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/5882/dsc02129smalllarge.jpg
Last of the pictures and a video.
Video shows a few things.
•In the dark showing the different transitions of push start w/ pivot security.
•Car at cold start
•Exhaust idle and hot and cold
•Under the hood and hood dampers and small reving to about 4k
•White smoke is probably from the AMS P.i cleaner stuff added to the gas tank. I still have a quarter tank of gas with the bottle in there.
•And lights working all around the car.

And finishing it off with some angle.
http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/9316/img4152jp.jpg
And finally, this seat comes with the car when it's sold. You might as well buy the car just for the seat.

This picture shows the braided lines with coils, along with the solid endlinks, and the hint of green behind the silver/grey paint. Neon Green sway bars...those crazy Japanese.

My lizard friend saying hello. In this picture you can see some of the work I did to re-enforce the front bumper. This was before paint and sanding.

This was a while back before the spacers, center garnish, new skirts, and 100 other things. Just to give you an idea of what it looks like with a little tint.

And finally, this seat comes with the car when it's sold. You might as well buy the car just for the seat.

Thank you for looking. If I were spending 8.5k, I would give 30 minutes of my time to read and re-read things. So if you're interested, feel free to pm me.
This is zilvia so I'll be waiting for that one guy who says "I could get 4 cars and a Ferrari motor for your asking price".
This FS Ad took a hours of work, but if it saves my house or makes my dad happy, then it would be all worth it.
