My uncle is a sand rail enthusiest and I just found out he has a really nice bender. Does very nice clean bends ifyou know how to work it. Pretty soon hes attaching a hydro to it to make it auto...
I can use it anytime, and even borrow it right now since hes not using it for a while. He only used it for himself when he was building these wicked sand rails with corvette engines in them.
Would anyone be interested in some custom pipping? *duh* hehe I have to practice first to get the skill down and make clean bends but Im thinking about trying it out... Anyone else here have one / have good skill making pipes (IC Kits, Exhaust, Intakes, anything)?

I DOUBT it is an actual mandrel bender. Maybe crush bending machine. Those mandrel benders are BIG dollars.

Its possible to produce mandrel bends without an $20,000 industrial machine.

I still havent seen it, but it makes crush free bends. it didnt cost 20K or anything... but it wasnt cheap. He also has a nice self fed no cleanup welder + a gen. so he can bring it anywhere.. its funny cause his tank is freaking huge. Biggest one the company makes.. almost my size hehe
Something Im seriously going to be using, along with all my tools I have

Either way, it would be awesome to have access to such equipment - you are a lucky man!

Air press with dies, they can do fantastic bends if the dies are in great shape.
I knew a Vietnamese dude that mastered one of them by eye. No chart needed. he was fast and perfect.
Fine machine, can bend up to 3/16 wall easy.
Their is a die chart ava. that explains angles and pressure for certain dies, a 90 degree is no problem on 4 inch material with 3/16 walls on some of them.
The dies cost out the yingyang.

if the dude says he puts Corvette engines in the sand rails why the hell would the guy use a crush type bender to support that massive investment of money and time?
