hey guys, as in title, idiot (me) needs help. i got a cheap cold air intake. yes ebay. and it misses one outlet for the biggest hose on the bottom. so my question is , what is it for? do i need it ? 1993 240 ka24de.

That's probably the hose for the air box to reduce noise. So no, you don't need it.

on the right side? a bit under the radiator hose? the x hose is disappearing somewhere behind the fan

are you talking about the big hose that comes from the head? or the other one near the water temp sensor?

either or, you can just snap on one of those little cone filters and call it a day :)
