ive been overheating like crazy going like 3miles from my house.

at idle stays in the middle, once i start driving it gets HOT!

i replaced radiator, water pump, and thermostat. hoses dont seem to be clogged.

when i turn my car off and go do something and come back to start it, it bogs until i rev it up for a couple seconds then sounds normal?

any help would be appreciated.

did you bleed the coolant?

Check for smoke, oil in the coolant, or coolant in your oil.
Did you pressure test your cooling system and radiator cap?

bogging sounds more like bad temp sensor

gonna do a pressure check tomorrow, also after driving for about an hour, if it doesnt overheat it gets hot and when i turn it off my coolant res tank boils

would bad temp sensor cause overheat?

also it started blowing white smoke, which i know is a major sign of a blown HG, but then it died down and lightly blows white smoke.

if both your temp sensors went bad, yes. not uncommon for a such old motors.

did you bleed the coolant?
yea, 3 times and flushed it. i saw coolant leaking from exhaust manifold, but could have been from the block.

check your oil is it milky white??
if it is your coolant and oil are mixing
could be a bad hg or a crack on block

try doing a conpresion test also.

make sure clutch fan is working properly.

have you replaced thermostat?

yes i have, but bought one from autozone which i heard was a bad idea cause theyre faulty, and it didnt work. i saw coolant leaking from looked like the exhaust mani, but could it have been from a crack? or the hg?

do you see the leaking from outside the mani or coming from within?

what about your oil?it will be a major indication by its color.

also if its a head gasket you will see constant white smoke from your exhaust because the water is heat up vaporized and shot out the exhaust as white smoke.
