Okay, here's the dealio...
Car was in a fender bender in March of 09'. I bought most of a new front end to fix it but never got around to having the car painted nor getting a new bumper. The car was professionally painted with a tri-coat paint job, kh3 base, clear with prizma teak (its microscopic pieces of glass), and than the final clear coat on top (in June 2008). I have a new bottle of Prizma Teak ($100) for who ever buys the car/shell if they decide to repaint it.
Cars been sitting under a tarp since march of 09' after the fender bender. I start it up, let it run a few minutes, take it around the block probably once or twice every other week. Its the fastest stock SR I've ever ridden in or driven. It compression tested at 175 across the board and it still pulls just as hard. It does have a cold starting issue, but I believe the injector o rings just need to be replaced. Besides that, the car runs great! Never pushed over 10 psi. Oil was changed every 2500 miles with 10w30 full synthetic.
I bought another zenki from a friend, and this one was left so sit. I just need to get rid of it.
The bads: I mentioned the cold starting issue, new oem injector o rings are like $15 shipped from ebay. I do NOT have a s14 5spd sensor for the tranny, so the speedo is currently unplugged. Obviously, the front end needs a bumper and paint. I'm sure from sitting so long, the rotors have gotten a little rusty, they could use a resurfacing. I never replaced the window seals on the car after it was painted, but they DO NOT leak, at all. I have a PS pump on the car, but I never bled it. The SR came with a hicas pump so I had to get a new one. So the PS system needs to be bled. I have a KA a/c compressor and the brackets from Codyace, I never bolted the compressor up though. But I did run the lines that go behind the block.
