Owner: Jason
Contact: Via PM or [email protected], and Cell to serious buyers
Price: $18,000 OBO will consider some trades (RWD Nissans, S2K, Evo's)

Hey Guys,
I really hate to do this but as of yesterday when the only track event I had planned for the year ended up being a crazy down pour I'm realizing it may be time. With my work schedule and two young kids the next chance I have to potentially hit up the track is the end of September and in Montana I can't see the weather working out well then either. We also just lost most of our SCCA schedule due to fighting members and the drag stip went bankrupt. So I'm realizing my car I have spent a ton of money and time on is probably going to spend most of the next year just sitting. I really hate to see that happen, especially after the cage, seats and harnesses, SPL suspension parts, Power brace, Oil Cooler and Kognition wing are all new and ready to get out on the track.

I will be traveling to Washington and Utah a lot this summer for work so if someone in those area's was interested I could deliver it as long as a deposit was placed to cover the trailer costs. I have the title in hand and am very flexible to work with any potential buyers on shipping/delivery. I am willing to deliver almost anywhere if the travel expenses are covered.

I have spent $10,000 on it just this year on the cage, seats, harnesses, wing, oil cooler and a few other things. I don't think I need to really tell everyone how much I have spent overall.

Price $18,000 OBO or Trades that could be daily driven for fun in the summer and hopefully to the track again someday (S2000's, RWD Nissan's plus cash depending on what it is)

I have 100's of pictures from the entire build so if you want to see anything I have not included please feel free to ask. You can contact me Via PM or at [email protected] I will give my cell phone to serious potential buyers.

Power: 91 Octane 449 Hp 337 Ft/lbs at 18 psi
100 octane 461 hp 350 ft/lbs at 18 psi

Rev limit: 9500 but I have never reved over 9000 and only did that on the dyno to see where power dropped off, with a larger exhaust housing or cam timing you should be able to get the power to hold out longer, but its already too much for me to handle.

I'm sure I have forgotten a few things as well but you get the general idea, I have tried to use the best parts, the car is amazing and handles and runs great. Made 461 hp on its last trip to the dyno at 18-19psi on 100 octane. On 91 octante it made 449 hp and 337 ft/lbs. Both tunes are included.

The engine was built and assembled by Mazworx, it has 1100 miles on it since they built it. The Turbo kit, brakes, and coilovers have less than 2000 miles on it. With our sucky weather I never drove it much. I did drag race it 4 passes, it ran a [email protected] on skinny drag radials with a 2.4 60'. This car will handle all the abuse you can give it and I'd really love to see someone who will get it to the track regularly buy it.

The car runs great, the only problems are a few small rock chips on the front bumper, and a 1"x1" chip caused from the trailer ramp catching on the bottom of the front bumper. I will get a picture of that, its noticable but not somethig I personally would fix or worry about on a track car, if you are into car shows or something and want it fixed it could be done for less than $100 i imagine. I am sure I am forgetting a lot and will add more later but I just wanted to see before the best part of the track season is gone if anyone has any interest. Let me know if you want pictures of anything I didn't include. The car is also rust free inside and out.

I'm posting on my phone zach so I'll check your pm later.

C4l I made some tweaks and have changed a lot since then. It handles a lot better with the cage and spl stuff. Plus it has more power since martin did a newer
tune.

all that rowdiness and still 5lug.. ?

teamsprock
05-31-2010, 07:41 AM
I've always had a nice pair of 4 lug wheels and then when I put the big brakes on I figured there was no reason to go 5 lug. But if someone wanted to they could sell the wheels and brakes and get enough to go 5 lug and pick up some new wheels. With the weather up here I didn't drive my car 6-8 months out of the year anyways so I could order wheels and wait 6 months every year. And 4 luggers are getting easier to find these days.

How hard is it to make it a daily driver? what do you have to do?

teamsprock
06-01-2010, 12:55 PM
Nothing except being caged its probably not the safest DD. It will drive fine for DD, the only other thing is I do not have the climate control unit in the car so you would need to put that back instead of the radio, the wiring is all there so it would be simple if you want the heater to work. The way the cage was built its pretty easy to get in, way simpler than most cars even with just a single door bar. It would probably be smart to also install some seat belts. I have some seat belts that would work but with the cage you would need to drill a hole and bolt the lower portion of the seat belt down since the cage blocks the factory bolt hole I believe.

Normally I do not post on threads I dont plan on buying from. But you have a VERY NICE car. It is very similar to my current set up I am building.

Any chance you could pm me with the actual cost of the wing ?

Best of luck with the sale.

You should keep it though. If you sell it you will regret it. Plus you would loose a ton of money/sweat/blood/tears/sleepless nights, ect....

The wing will run anyone around $1300, I got it for cheaper due to being the first buyer in Kognition's group buy. I have serial number 001! This was his first production wing outside of his sponsored team's.

Thanks for the positive comments, I know I will miss it but its built to drive and I hate seeing it not get used. There is too much time and money to just have it sit in the garage. I'll be curious to see your car when its all done! I know you'll love it cause these cars are sweet when done right, I can't explain how much fun this car is to drive. Too bad I can't do it more.

I will have a thread on it as soon as this damn deployment is over(july, knock on wood). I just bought my motor(for more than I spent on my car, lol), and will be sporting all of spl's catalog for an s14, plus brand new oem paint and some tid bits here and there.

I've got the LS1 powered S14 for sale, I've been looking to sell it just to build a track car, I'd be down for trades if you like mine, figure can't hurt to ask. It's almost the opposite, I don't drive it that much because I don't want to bang it up, but I need a track car lol.

gorgeous car and the taillights looks like stock zenkis with the center piece painted...

also what brand is the radiator panel that covers up to the hood latch thanks

teamsprock
06-02-2010, 09:54 AM
Those are old pictures of the taillights and you are correct they were zenki's with painted center section. If you look at the pictures with the wing you can see the Kouki taillights on there.

The cooling panel is a Kevlar Garage defend piece that Phase2 had laying around and hooked me up with a good deal.

06-03-2010, 02:12 PM
Thanks, looks like the cash offer might have fallen threw, I am still considering the trade on the LS1 supermade beauty. If I end up keeping it I think I am going to swap back to a Zenki front so if anyone wants to trade for an S15 front let me know, or even a Kouki front. I just turned the boost back to 1.25 bar as I had the boost controller off and didn't notice. The car us nuts even just at 1.25, I typically run 1.35 on pump gas.

I drove it to the shop today to clay bar it and give it a good wax after the drive in the bad weather on the trailer this weekend. I'll get some new pics when I get it all finished.

Here's a quick shot so you can see the hood vents, I just installed them last week getting ready for the track, they keep the intake manifold and Master cylinder much cooler. With the shape they create an area of low pressure allowing some heat out. Since I didn't get to track it I can't say how well they work but in the street the fans barely have to run to hold temps at stock temps. Sorry the second pic is a crappy cell phone pic, it keeps raining so I haven't pulled it out to take pictures with my camera.
