Bring like a bill of sale to court, maybe some estimates of the damages that made your car clunk. If the officer "estimated" a speed, you can fight that they can't just "estimate".

Just register it and fight it. Explain to the judge what was going on

Did you explain to him that you just bought the car?

And isn't an exhibition of speed when you are racing? When was he following you, when you were speeding, or when your cornered? Sounds like you took the corner fast...

Insurance dates aren't retroactive, so you might be assed out on that part.

I know when you buy a car from a dealership your insurance covers you for a few days till you get it all legalized. But I don't believe it is the same when dealt with a private party.

Why did you edit out your post? Someone might have had the same problem and now we don't know what the fuck you guys were talking about--but we can sorta see the context from the replies.

FYI, exhibition of speed does not have to be racing. Revving, burnouts, jackrabbit take offs from the light; These are examples.
