if anyone have done this swap i will be thankful for all the info that you can give me. the motor is a 406 small blck 700r4 trans 300z rear end if that helps any. i got the mount kit already. before i start i was trying too see if anyone had some tips other than not doing it lol.

406 small block Chevy I presume.
What do you want to know? Expect to save a lot of money.
Set the engine and transmission in the subframe. Bolt up the diff.
You'll need a custom Driveshaft Shop driveshaft to mate the gearbox up to the diff. Not a big deal since it's not expensive. Just call them.
Mount your drive belt system.
Run all your plumbing for fuel and air delivery, cooling, power steering, a/c, etc.
Install your ignition system and wiring.
Very easy if you have carb(s).

i was told by a friend that i had to beat the firewall where the trans go but he never done the swap. just trying to see if that was true.

Possibly. My firewall was moved back 6 inches. No hump beating was needed, but my T5 is really compact compared to yours.
That's why I said mount the drivetrain first before anything else. If you can't mount then spend money or quit.
