z32 maf ecu/afc ?

Okay, so the maf on my sr20det is toasty...not sure how it managed to go bad but it did. So i'm thinking instead of doing another oem maf I minds well go ahead and upgrade for the future.

Z32 maf.... with a hks megaflow ...will that work ?
Then i've heard that you need a afc to controll the air/fuel now that its a diff maf.
So...if i was going that route...i would go apex-i s-afc how does that sound?

Then I've also heard you can just do a ecu upgrade ?
Will that AFC take are of the need to upgrade an ECU later on, and not just for the maf?

AFC wont work IIRC. You will need a custom ECU of some sort. Im not sure how the SR works or what is availible, but I had JWT setup my ECU to allow me to run a Cobra MAF. Try the search for SR20 MAF's and you should find all the info you need.
