quick 411. my name is Juan, dominican, going to san diego area around sep-october time frame. i am in japan right now.(since 2002), i drive a 180sx(sileighty after i wrecked..lol.). lovely drift live here. anyway, im in the military.Navy. well i gave NEVER been even near California so needless to say i know No1 over there except coworkers who i dont much associate. i dont hang with military peeps(unless they are into racing, not flashing 22" dumb lucking wheels.

so im basically starting this thread to meet up with fellow drifters, and definately get back to the track(i prefer mountain passes but i dont know shit bout cali. all i've heard is that the cops are a-holes..im from new york so nothing new.

not hard to find a 240sx in cali just hard to find rare parts. Might as well bring parts you already have or have access to in japan before coming over. Visit the Chula Vista meet & San Diego meet thread in the Regional section as soon as you get settled.

what part of san diego? (if they told you where)

tracks not any that i can think of, except some events at the stadium but not drifting. Theres tracks but theyre a drive out of the city. Theres canyons and some mountains but probably no where as nice as the ones in japan.

and parts are somewhat difficult, but theres always online ordering...

bro, i have no idea where im going to be at. I am going to guess North Island Area or near Coronado(wherever the Aircraft Carriers are at..maybe you know better than i..lol..

yeah, i figured there would be plenty of online shopping. what do you drive?

i dont know about drifting (fairly new to the game) but i do canyon runs inland :] police arent to fond of street stuff and like safety i guess... yeah most likely coronado so youre in between both meets (san diego and chula vista on the forums) might wanna check those out people been in it longer than me haha...
i drive a 95 s14... running mostly stock POS probably compared to your car haha

im running stock too.lol. just straight pipe, intercooler boost controller(s14 turbine or a s13 haha) and real good suspensions. you dont need too much power upgrades for Sr20's.
i havent been doing it long either, bout 3 years. but mostly mountain, and in november started doing at the track. its kinda better..
you wanna sell me your 14 haha..

i'll be moving to san diego soon too. i just need to talk to my aunt about what parts i can have at the house. if it all goes well, i'll be moving to sd this summer. i'll for sure check out the local meets once i get settled.
