I think this is the car i will soon be buying...but first i want to know your opinions

Model: 240SX
Price: $3,950
Mileage: 257,820 km
Comment: Runs great, 5 spd., fully loaded, pw, pm, ps, pdl, tilt, tint windows, 2 wk. old brakes, tune-up. Heavy duty clutch, custom int., 15K. on full rebuild eng., e-test passed. 257,820 km. $3,950.

yeah i'm from canada so i should have said that its canadian funds...i guess like $2,200 US
and the engine is rebuilt but that doesnt matter cuz i will be getting the SR20DET put it as soon as i can gather $4000 CND

I would offer him about 1400 US. not for sure what it would be in CAN so you will need to do the exchange on that. By going that low it will give you and the other person some bargaining room so you hopefully get it at a steal.

Be sure to get it on a lift and look for rust...good idea to pull the door step and peel the carpet back and check the floorboards too.
Up there with all that salt on the roads...well check under the car real good.
:eek: even in U.S$ I still think its too much

why dont you look on www.trader.ca and buy one for like $2000 CDN. there are plenty. i got my first 240 from ontario. 1993 full load SE with 140,000 for 2200.

never seen one that cheap...keep in mind we are in kilometres here not miles...all the cheap ones are automatics

sounds a little steep, but if your doing an SR swap, i would worry to much about the auto issue. if you dont expect to wait along time.
the custom interior sounds nice, but i wouldnt pay the price for it.
but in my humble opinion i would look for a better deal first
