Finally got my build ready and running now the problem lies in getting it to a stable idle. right now it will idle fine but at 1400rpm. boost/vucumm gauge showing 0. when I give it throttle it goes to 10 psi no problem but does not show vucumm. Is this because idle is high and its acting like its under load and showing 0 psi? Should tightening up my idle control valve help lower my idle. and will i then see vacumm on my gauge. Please be serious with your answeres I just wanna see if there is something I may be missing.

You wired the vac wrong.

Tee it in after the Throttle body

Anything before the Throttle body you will be seeing only boost pressure and no vac

Lower the idle to ~700 ( i like setting my idle at ~800-850 helps with exessive shaking with stiff mounts)with the tps connector off
then set timing at 20

Right now the vacumm is hooked up after the throtle body at the intake manifold by where the fuel regulator gets vacumm so I can't see that I placed it in the wrong place that's why I was wondering if my engine idle being high would contribute to engine Being at load and cause reading to be at 0 like it's ready to boost and yes 20 degrees for the timing and 2 degrees retard then .75 for every pound of boost, correct? Can it be that I have the boost/vacumm sensor teed off from vacumm signal to the bov? Can this tee make my reading be off

Well.. after a more detailed look and investigation of my bov, I found it was leaking really bad so now to get it fixed. Gaskets on the syncronic bov are thin and do not seal as they should. I had to drill out screws to the front cover because they would strip even with the right size allen keys. now I have to look for the right screws to put the front cover back on then pressure test again.
