Ever since I did my new KA swap my car now has a wierd Winding noise when I acclerate?
The noise almost kind of sounds like a "supercharger" & idk what the hell it is?
Does anyone have any ideas? Also my throw bearing is loud as hell too btw?

if you just installed subframe collars that's just noise being transferred from the diff/trans. I like it :)
If not, maybe your fan clutch is broken? get an electric radiator fan.

I dont think it's those problems, it sounds like it's coming straight from inside the tranny? My tranny works fine though.

its not your throw out bearing. it will only make noise when your clutch is pressed. its either all the 155 horses or it could be your diff. just a coinsidence that it happened sinse you did your swap. that shit always happens to me.

Did you refill your power steering? The pump will whine like crazy when they are empty.

When my clutch is pressesed it's quiet. It's just extremly loud when my clutch is out? But i want to know why my car is whining so loud?

My power steering is filled & fine
throw out bearing
I know my throw bearing is the reason it's loud. I just want to know why it's super loud? Not like normal? & why it's whining when I accerlate?

its loud cuz its no good...? if you know the problem then fix it.
throwout bearings arent supposed to make noise so if its loud then its bad if its super loud then its...superbad (pun intended)
just get a new ka throwout bearing.

it could be the input shaft bearing replace the pilot bearing and throw out bearings see if it still dose it

are u running electric fans or the stock clutch fan
if its the stock fan
ur clutch is broke and is constantly spinning
the clutch is supposed to kick in and out to lessen the speed of the fan and vibrations
my car had the same problem
and fix this asap cuz it will brake ur water pump
(i went threw 3 of em)
i wouldnt mind letting go of mine since im swapping if u want it
pm me if u do

i had the same problem, ended up being a bad fan clutch.

ireplace the pilot bearing bearing see if it still does it
+1 if your talking about noise going away when you depress on the clutch its most likely the pilot bearing.

My car runs fine. Just the throw out bearing is loud? What i really want to know is why it whines?

Did it over heat?

i bet its the input shaft bearing
just like mine
as u speed up it whines hahah
and its noisey when no clutch is not pressed
change out ur tranny fluid. my tranny was doing the same thing when i used redline mt90. changed it to that syncromesh blend and now no more noise

actually wen the clutch on the fan brakes it blows more air to the motor
so in general it keeps the motor pretty cold but at a price
the vibration is a waterpump killer

I have the same problem as well, but I was told that it was my input shaft bearing. It would only whine on first through third and would change and would for the fourth and fith gear. Just because they run on a different gearing shaft in the tranny. Just wondering if yours whine after 3rd gear or not.

OK I came to the Conclusion that it's my Input Shaft Bearing/Tranny bearing that is making the winding noise!
Thanks for all your guys help!
