i have a 90 s13 hatch with new slotted/cross drilled rotors and new pads, im having a problem(not sure how big of a problem but im sure its not good) with my left rear rotor being way to hot. its so hot that the wheel is too hot to touch. i had it on the lift a few weeks ago and it was really hard to spin the wheel while in N. i thought it might be the parking brake hanging up but i havnt been using it and its still heating up. anyone had this happen before?:bash:

Its a 20 yr old car, the caliper is seized. Replace it.

now you got an excuse to upgrade to z32 brakes and do the whole 5 lug conversion lol!

or your new brake pads are the wrong pads and to large, causing your car to be on the brakes all the time..either way easy fix

actually both sides would do it then...new caliper time!

Better off just going to an autoparts store and buying a rebuilt one you just taking a shot in the dark with a junkyard, might end up in the same boat your in now.

Sounds like a stuck caliper. Cheaper way too is if you can find a rebuild kit. It's hard to find nowadays but sometimes you get lucky. Easy to rebuild calipers, just pop out the pistons, wetsand down any rust on the pistons and caliper, replace all the seal, reassemble and install. GL.
