Is my SR crank pulley bad? (picS)

I had to replace my front main seal a little over a year and a half ago. I replaced my crank pulley last fall. Now my seal leaked oil progressively worse and I replaced it today. I was wondering what caused it and read the pulley cna be bad? So I took these pics, any help is appreciated!

was the part of the seal that touches the pulley greased like it should be?
