23000 priced to sell
$23,000 is a lot to be "Priced to Sell".
The only way that you'd be able to get that much is if it's fully legal with appropriate Federal, State and EPA paperwork stating that the car is 50-state legal. Without that you're going to have a very hard time selling.
Regardless, this is a beautiful example of an R32, good luck selling it.

Can't legally register GTR's in CA, or the US for that matter. There are loopholes you can use, but its never legit. You wonder why all the companies that "legalized" all those skylines a few years ago are no longer around

Sorry but that is not true. I drove a fully CA reg GTR for several years with no issues and the new owner has owned it in CA for 2 years with no issues. Their are several cars that did come in through "loopholes" but their are also 49 state and very few 50 state GTR's out their. Just have to find them and they fetch $$$. About double the asking price of this car.
Dont' know the details on this particular car but, just thought i'd clear that up,
I'm a 32 fan for life, GLWS

Well I stand partially corrected. I'm sure everyone remembers Motorex. This is the whole story behind that fiasco. Basically they did preform the front, rear and side crash tests required for the Skyline to become legal in the US based on DOT crash standard and CARB standards in all 50 states. By the end of the article it states that the cars sold through Motorex were all given bond releases which basically states that they are OK, not necessary legal or illegal. Its definitely still a VERY grey area and thats as close to legal as they ever got.
There is another company, Kaizo, that was importing the shells and motors separately. They then reassembled them in the US and could therefor register them as a "Kit Car" and register them for show and limited use. They didn't need to be smoged under this loophole. The Department of Homeland Security has been seizing the cars imported and sold this way recently because that is NOT legal.
So to end this thought, if you happen to own one of the Motorex Skylines, that is the only way to legally drive one on the street, but if you ever get pulled over it could be a tough explanation. BUYER BEWARE.

Isn't funny how most "Skyline FS" threads all turn into discussions about the car being legalized or not?
Anyways, GLWS for that price this car better have paperwork.

Tells how
Much knowledge you have lol
a 12 k 240 usually has double that in parts invested, a $4000 20 year old gtr that cost $2000 to import tat is eing sold for $23k is dumb especially since the op doesnt even put forth the effort to make a decent sale post.

True, the point I was trying to make is that whenever there is a skyline for sale thread the OP should just post facts like: registration status, documentation, and title status to keep everything inline.
Let's face it most skyline owners are getting rid of their cars due to all the "heat" that is being generated around these cars.
For the record there were a few federalized 32's that were even being sold on this board with the price tag of right around 30k, the dream of DD a 32-33-34 is possible, just gotta pay to play.
