Posting this because I helped a dude save $4 today by letting him know what is at the local junkyards.

Basically, if you go to the junkyard, tell us the location of the junkyard and if anything good is there (For S-Chassis mainly). We can save lots of time and money this way :)

To start, I went this morning.

I saw a Red Porsche 944 at the Pick a part in riverside I believe off of Pyrimte or some shit like that.

I went to all these two weeks ago or so...

1 s13 there front end is pretty bad, motor almost gone, Doors, trunk,rear bumper still good Hatchback btw.

had two s13s One convertible (I took the driver seat.) Motor (DOHC) was still there two weeks ago, there's also a black s13 had a Tabtuesday sticker on the window, front end is gone but doors, Decent carpet, Hatch, Rear center garnish, lights, all those goodies still there.

There was ONE s14 when I went that I didnt mention, strictly because there was nothing left, and it smelled like piss on the inside. It was in the very corner of the one on beach blvd. Believe it or not, people actually do piss in some of the cars so be careful what your taking from the interior.

And Kwon, yes. Only thing is I can't keep our tradition of having a smoke. I'm on an asthma study again haha. We should wait awhile though because I just went last week.

Hey guys i jst went to the Sun Valley Junkyard Pick Your Part and i saw 3 s13s! All of them are stripped however on a bluish one anything you need from the body, is clean, front fenders no dents, rear bumper primmered, quarter panels, doors everything is in good shape and would only need a sand and spray, i pulled the front bumper lol NO ENGINES ON ALL OF THEM, however the blue one had the tranny dnt know if it works... PM me if you guys have any questions, oh and dnt waste ur money on going into the other side, all u'll see is newer crappers, ford and chevs...

Found 2x SOHC Hatch 1x DOHC Hatch
The SOHC hatches still had their motors and interior plastics. Don't bother with the DOHC hatch, was stripped to hell.

Ecology - Chula Vista
Found x3 SOHC Hatch 1x SOHC Coupe 1x DOHC Vert
All the SOHC hatches still have a good amount of stuff to take. One of them had a clean dash (which of course I took :P). The SOHC coupe had some interior plastics in brown. The DOHC Vert had a complete motor set, was pondering if I should take it myself. The vert also had a somewhat clean black dash. The dash had a single crack line on the left side above the gauge cluster (mph side). I probably would've grabbed that one as well but I didn't have room for 2 dashes and other misc stuffs >.<

I dont recall but I THINK there was one at the ecology off main. I went there and there was the same s13 for the last month and a fresh red s13 vert, which including me there was 3 people on the car. got the exhaust cam for the s14 cam swap. and someone took the center console and interior pieces.

Super fresh white S13 at the PYP in stanton. I found it fresh not touched, they just layed it on the lot. Full fresh clean black interior (cracked dash). I took the drivers seat, center console, drivers side window regulator, coolant reservoir (brand new), rear seats. The car was super fresh white had TSW rims on it 17", sportline springs on tokico blues, muffler, good hatch lifter things, full single cam automatic, rear looks flawless (passenger quarter panel is dented). Chalk all over the car now from yours truely.

PYP in anaheim had one S13 hatch red, nothing worth taking really. Clean body, maybe some stock suspension. M/T was still there.

As for the one in Stanton and Anaheim, I was one whom stripped the white hatch of it's goodness in the Anaheim one. I got to it super fresh, then marked it up with chalk found in the car writing Zilvia.net and DataXUnknown and Wes on it :)

I have news to report. I went to 4 junk yards today.

The first junkyard was the santa fe springs ecology. They had 3 240sx hatchback two of them were gutted, but there was one there that had seats and parts on the engine.

The second yard I went to was the pick your part in stanton. There was 1 240sx hatchback but the interior was rummaged through and the exterior really did not have much to take.

The 3rd junk yard I went to was the junkyard pick your part in wilmington. I went to the 1903 blinn . Over here I saw 1 240sx hatchback that was gutted. The windshield was in good condition and there should be one oem right tail light still available. Also there were also parts of the engine still intact. I also saw a 240sx coupe white color that still had the tail lights intact and in good condition. The engine was pretty much gone. The interior was also gutted as well.

The 4th Junk yard I went to was pick your part wilmington down the same street which was 1232 blinn. They had 2 240sx hatchback. They were both rummaged through. The seats were in no condition to be taken, and there was not really much to take off the body either.

Went to the one in wilmington. I forgot which one but it's the smaller lot of the 2. There was a pretty clean white coupe. Body is intact as of yesterday but auto. There was also a complete VR4 Galant complete in the bigger lot. Sad to see that car in the junkyard...very rare. If anyone sees an MK3 supra non-turbo with manual trans please let me know. I am in dire need of the transmission. Thanks.

About 4-5 S13, they were all zenki with no engines. Some of them still had the automatic transmissions.

Surprisingly saw an FD there, completely stripped however
Several FC RX7, some with engines still.

i went to the beach and ball stanton junkyard today and i found a z32 300zx. champagne almost near the wall in the back right corner.

i took the rear z calipers and ebrake shoes and hardware. i couldnt get the axle nut off. so the 5 bolt axles are still on it . including the 5 lug rear hubs. and the diff.

but i would think you would need an impact gun to get the 36mm axle nut off.

a treasure i found :P

i didnt see a maf or front calipers. and they wanted 48$ a wheel so i left them

or you could have left the ebrake assembly on, yanked up the ebrake and broken the nut lose with a breaker bar. Then removed the ebrake assembly :duh:.....lol

I was at the SB pick a part and the fontana/colton all import yard last week, and the resaults were pretty much the same. They both had about 3 hatches and 2 coupes a piece. On most the bodies were complete an a most of the interiors were intact. all 4 lug.

RSX have been showing up lately, someone keeps coming up on the motors. 300 dollar complete K20 isn't bad at all.
