The time has come for me to massivly upgrade my fuel system.
Im gonna be running 8 850cc injectors which totals a total of 6800cc of fuel or 110 gallons per hr. Im going up to -8an fuel feed lines and all the other associated crap.
The only pumps that support this are the aeromotive a1000 or the weldon a2015. All of these pumps require either a sump or a surge tank to efficiently work. I dont want to run a fuel cell so the sump is out of the question, so surge tank it is.
Question is what are the rules regarding mounting of say a surge tank with associated steel braided lines in the trunk of my s14. I can put the pump outside but the surge tank definitly has to be in the trunk.
All the rule books i could find are very vague when it comes to this...
I do not want to run dual intank pumps so please dont suggest this.
