sohc problem

okay my ka24e was pulling decent for a sohc the car sat for a while before i bought it i drove about 2hrs an it started bogging an id have to like pump the gas or floor cuz it would start bogging or jerking real hard on my way back home it would hit like the limiter at 2500 rpm it would bounce off it an rev slow top speed of 35 in 4th gear lol this morning it starts but cranks slow as fuck could it be my alt? please give me some advice?

Could be your maf sensor.
I have a single slammer too.
One day I drove it and it wouldn't go over 2700rpms
so I cleaned my maf made sure the connections were
nice and snugg and hasn't given me a problem since.

Yeah, that sounds like textbook MAF. Make sure it's plugged in and connected well. Usually just a wiggle will help.

when it first started happening were the gauges jumping like crazy?
