Apparently it wasn't "on topic"
A thread I put up was deleted less than an hour after posting...
anyway, I have 2 options
I can get a 2nd Gen RX-7 from my grandparents, it's been sitting for a few years, but I can probably get it for cheap and I've been wanting it for a while...
or
I could get a 240sx (any year) I've been wanting one since before I even had my learners...
What are some advantages/disadvantages to both? And how much would they cost to get slide ready?

That's the problem, I want both of them...
I just don't know what the price differences are for an RX-7 and a 240sx

You will NOT be spoon fed around here. Hence why your first thread got deleted before you got flamed off here.
research prices on parts here, and go find an RX7 forum (ALL YOUR ANSWERS LIE HERE! CLICK ME! (http://tinyurl.com/2uqby82)) to research part prices on there.
Do not expect anyone to do the work for you around here
In short.........buy what YOU want, and what YOU can afford.

If you're asking a question like this, the MOST you're probably going to do to either is buy coils, weld the diff, and buy a shiny steering wheel. It costs the same to do that to either car.
Man up and take the FC.

Fucking research prices on parts here, and go find a fucking RX7 forum (ALL YOUR ANSWERS LIE HERE! CLICK ME! (http://tinyurl.com/2uqby82)) to research part prices on there.

I'm not expecting to be spoon fed, I'm only asking for personal opinions and experiences. As for researching, I can do that on my own, but if it's a big fucking deal to tell how much you got parts for yours, then you're probably the laziest person that I know of.

rotard is probably the most reliable engine ever, buy it.
2nd gen from grandma that has been sitting should be free.
I can get the above from a stranger on CL for $500.
So my vote is free rx7...
