S13 Swap differences???

I have a friend who was in the honda scene. His car got stolen and now he is looking for a new car. Hes looking at 240s but dosen't know what swap he wants. He asked me what the difference is of putting a S13 red top vs s13 blacktop vs s14 blacktop into a s13 hatch I'm still a newbie so idk. In terms of hp, torque, reliability, and build potential. Eventually he is looking to build which ever motor he swaps in to around 500-600 rwhp. What would you suggest.

P.S. I did search for a long time and came up with nothing :(

I found that in 2 seconds too. And if you read it my questions are not answered in that post. Its a bunch of random unorganized information with every other person saying the post before them is bs and a bunch of flaming. There are people who talk about the build potential but they say 300-350hp, my friend is looking for 500-600. Not to mention pretty much everything any one said there someone else says is bull.

First, no my friend is not me. I already have an s13 and he dose not. Second that link shows the differences in the engine construction wise. It has nothing about hp, torque, or build potential. And explains nothing about putting an s14 black top in an s13 vs and s13 red or black top. Next time you wanna be a dick maybe you should read your own link and get your shit straight :/

No one is going to give you everything to meet you desired hp mark, look at other member's builds and see how they did it. to tell youthe truth man get the twincam ka its got good hp and torque, me and my brother just finished a ka-t it hooks like crazy. it out ran an sr fullytuned. but people do the sr for the jdm motor when itdoesnt touchthe ka thats just my opinion but i would do a ka if i was in your shoes
