Shell turn but wont fire up, im still getting ready to check if coils are sparking but i noticed theres no fuel at all in the return line after the FPR (opened it). does it mean anything? or has it just returned and none there to spill out...
Also, wouldnt the spark plug smell like fuel assuming its getting fuel? (and not firing) when you pull it out?
Its late, dont mean to scatter questions...Just wondering the best way to se if fuel is getting in there
EDIT: going to check if i have the ignition coil relay and ECCS realys hooked up the the right places.. there both blue. I figure thats important hehe UPDATE: Tried swapping them, no dice... I do hear a click when I turn the key off *shrug*
*wonders how to ID relays*

Can you hear the fuel pump turn on? If not I would check the relay and the fuse for the pump. Who wired the car? Did you figure it out yourself or phase2motortrend?

I just picked up an nice voltage meter, and was going to verify all my wiring.
Dont flame, but I was wrong in thinking it would at least fire a little bit without the vacum hoses hooked up and a duct from the turbo to throttlebody...
Going to check injectors and coil packs right now, I will update. Once everything is up and running i will have a start up vid too =]
Btw I did all the wiring myself...

Here is some stuff I found...Some of the stuff you already checked but a few you haven't posted. This is from Mav from fa.com.
Spark
CAS
Plugs
Coils
Ignitor chip
Harness
ECU
Fuel
Fuel pressure
Fuel rail
Injectors
Fuel pressure regulator
etc
Air
MAFS
etc
----------Taken from FA.com----- Just to double check the wiring
OK,
This is what I did on my 96 S14 swap into a 95 240:

Thanks! I had the pinouts one already.. I got my Volt metter and ran thru the FSM diagnostics, I had one wire (un labeled in diagram) unplugged, that should have been going to the injectors.
Everything esle is good accept (grrr) MY IGNITOR is dead, no response on the FSM diagnostic tests... going to cartune tomorrow to get myself a working one.

Turned out it was my coils not getting power.
Traced it down to the underdash harness (F4->M63) and got that wire hooked up to the right pin for battery power verifying it with a volt meter (MUST HAVE!) ...
crossed my fingers and thisis what happened:

I just had a temp. duct from the turbo to the Throttle body, and not all the vacum lines were hooked up... so it was pretty high variable idle. but yeah
:D :D :D :boink: :boink: :boink:
EDIT: I also still have to set the timing, which im sure is way off becuase I was testing that too...
