Why do I come up with lame titles? Who knows.

But the fact is when I attempt to heel and toe my big clumsy feet get in the way and my knee has to go thru the steering column (which it can't do) in order to perform this manuever?

Should I become some odd ball and use my toes on the gas or something?

I don't know, what do all those tall drifters do in Japan?

i put my heel on the brake and toe on gas, instead of the other way. but i'm not very good anyway :)

Yea I was thinking I would just be forced to do that, but I really havent seen any pros do it, anyone?

By the way I suck at heel toe.

i dunno how big and clumsy your feet are, but i wear a size 13 and i think it gives me an advantage. i just have the left half of my right foot on the brake and when you push it in enough, you roll the right side of your foot on the gas to blip the throttle at the proper time. my heel never leaves the floormat on either foot, so i dont have to worry about bumping the steering wheel.

if the seat isnt all the way back and the steering wheel all the way up, thats another matter altogether

YES!! That's how I do it, I thought I was alone on that procedure. It's quite effective and very easy to do.
