Tow trucks please for under 2k

I thought this would have been discussed before but what kind of trucks are you guys using to Tow and whatnot. Im trying to get some ideas. Thanks.

Tow vehicle for $2k? Sure you can get an old truck but would it last and be reliable? No.

Early to mid 90s Chevy 1500s. Give those a quick look.

You can usually find a like early 90's Dodge, diesel for around that price, iirc. That would be pretty good for towing.
