i was looking at suspension setups and some questions came up. i saw that the groundcontrol kyb agx is height adjustable by 2 inches. is that the only advantage of the groundcontrol coilover set up, ride height adjustability? i mean 400 is alota money just to change how high the car is by 2 inches. another thing i wasnt sure about was that the pillow ball mounts were around 300 extra. are they really worth 300 dollars? do they make the car handle better or is just camber correction? im not really positive what they do.

Ground Control coilovers primary advantage is the height adjustment, but with Ground Controls, you can request custom spring rates in 10lb increments. It's not necessary for most people, but can be an asset to full on custom set ups. As for the Upper pillow ball mounts, their first noticeable advantage is camber adjustment, but it also decreases slop in the suspension because the mounts use pillow balls instead of the stock rubber mounts.
As for the price, it's worth it if it fits your needs. It all depends on your application. If you need camber adjustment in the front and have a stock car, you can just purchase camber eccentric bolts for +/-1 for $25 from www.tirerack.com. But for a car lowered more than 1.5-2 inches, it may require you to adjust camber more, depending on your set up.

the primary reason to have ride height adjustment on eacah corner of your car, is to allow for Corner Weighting the vehicle. If you don't track your car seriously, then this is not a necessary thing for you.
