Just finished my s13 but im picking up a s14 shell tomorrow. Im planning on selling my s13 stance coilovers that have less than a 1000 miles on them, in order to get some for the s14. I mentioned the plan to the guy im gettin the shell from and he said i can use the coilovers on the s14, id just have to drill out the holes in the front coilovers(sounds sketchy to me).
My question is has anyone ever heard/done/have experience with this?

I could be mistaken but IIRC front should be fine with no mods.
S13 rears are far too short.

Not only are the rears too short, but the hats are a different bolt pattern.

fronts bolt on no problem, there is a company that sells spacers you put in s14 knuckle to use s13 bolts so it will not wobble...
the s13 rears are far to short to use on s14 and besides the mounting points on them are different

The spindle bolts for the front are a different size so what that dude said was correct. They're larger on an s14 by 2mm. Instead of drilling, some people have used these - 5lugsleeves.com (http://www.5lugsleeves.com/) I've never heard any reviews on those though.
As for the rear "hats" or whatever those people are talking about having a different bolt pattern.....ummm its 2 bolts directly across from each other on both s13 and s14 (I'm guessing they're spaced different? This would be new to me.) I've always known it to be the lower mount of the coilover being the problem in that its way shorter on an s13. BUT, since you have stances, you can just order the s14 lower mounts, put them on your rears and you'll be fine. Hell, you can order s14 lower mounts for the front while you're at it and now you'll have a set of s14 coilovers

The rear "Top Hat" on the S14 is wider, same bolt pattern just bolts are wider apart.
