ok, lets think about this for a sec.
the stock electric fan on an s chassis is not the main cooling fan, the clutch fan is. so if you are wiring up a fan to the stock wires its not going to run when you hit your acc power. Using the stock wires for your cooling fans will not work.
the fans that you are trying to install have multiple wires because in the previous vehicle they were the only fans and got power from different sources like a/c, engine temp, etc... so the fact that they have multiple wires is not an issue.
you will need to wire these fans onto a new circuit that you run off your battery.
those fans will work with only two wires hooked up, hot and ground. stick with your red and black, red is hot, black is ground. ignore the other two wires. I have electric fans and just wired them to a switch, electric fan controllers are available if you feel like spending the money but thats up to you. getting one to turn on with a switch is simple as hell, I recommend pulling juice straight off the battery and getting a switch that can handle like 15-20 amps. just please make sure to wire in a fuse between the battery and your switch, we dont want you to burn your car to the ground. anyways, getting one to turn on with acc power is a little more difficult, you could wire in a relay and grab a signal from something like the radio but still power it from your battery. do not try to power that fan off an existing circuit though, it will fail eventually even if it works for a little while. its the worst idea in the world. soo, yeah, good luck. oh, also you can feel free to use the ground wire that is already on the chassis that used to go to your stock fan. find it by doing continuity check to the existing wires and the chassis.
