We've already gotten huge responses in just the first day. ClubLexus, Vipstylecars, and PlatinumVIP are bringing out loads of cars.

It's the same setup as we did last year. The parking lot is public. General parking is $7. That's why we are asking everyone to be early just like last time. We were able to take up as much space as we needed (with the majority of cars showing up between 8-9am). There was at least 300 cars that showed up last year, and we had room for more before the normal beach gowers started showing up (which gets heavy closer to 10am). We've held a Wrongfitmentcrew meet there since also. It's a really good spot to hold a meet, and for the super low cars there is no speedbumps. The roads are as smooth as LA can be in that area also (newly repaved on the front street). I counted the spaces last year before the meet, and there is around 900+ spaces. I work for the city in this area too.

Hey guys! My name is Nathan and I'm hosting the 562 Caravan from Cerritos. Just a little update for your guys...

83 confirmed guests so far on facebook events.

plus the three caravans joining us at Best Buy:
-Club lexus SD caravan
-Club Lexus South Oc caravan
-my350z 714 caravan


Departure time is 7:15am from Best Buy. We will head west via the 91 fwy over to Status Auto Design where we will meet with the 714 Club Lexus Caravan and VIPSTYLECARS 714 Caravan.

Once we form one massive EPIC caravan at Status Auto Design, we will then head out to HF5.


We have people from Zilvia, Club Lexus, Vipstylecars, wrongfitmentcrew, stanceworks, my350z and many more with one thing in common... FITMENT.

Rules:
1. No speeding, WOT, loud music, burnouts, etc
2. no hating.... we're all here for the same reason.

400 cars were expected. but at 9:30 it was reported that cops had to close down the lot because they repoted 850 cars showed. they couldnt fit all the cars in one lot so they had to close it down and use another lot.

I expected most of the stanced out cars to stay together, but there were so many stock cars just scattered within the show. And they weren't just people going to the beach. These were people that obviously caravaned there, or came to see the show case, and took spots of cars that were being turned away later on.

Yeah and Wayne, totally not like the other Nissan meet. No one was picking and choosing who went in. No discrimination of cars. The cops were the ones that closed the lot to EVERYONE. Kinda sucked but oh well. I went canyon carving afterwards and got shrimp at Neptune's Net. So all is well in the world :)

Yeah... the attitude that someone used my car for a flyer for that event in riverside. Without my permission and told me to go fuck off when I asked to park my car where everyone was instead of the backlot. And they proceeded to let other cars park where I had just asked to (non nissan btw @ a nissan meet)

And when I say stock, I mean things that have rims and are lowered are stock.
So half the Z's/infinities and Subies are a waste of picture space imo.
Very boring to look through, and I am a big STI fan.

The roads are as smooth as LA can be in that area also (newly repaved on the front street). I counted the spaces last year before the meet, and there is around 900+ spaces. I work for the city in this area too.

I'd rather the good looking cars not get turned away because the lot is full. I'm sure the amount of cars expected was way underestimated as I assume a significant amount of cars did not register.

It was a cool meet overall, rolled with 562 caravan, we all got split up, 10 freeway was closed so we had to get off the freeway, then followed a couple of cars and ended up getting lost up in Malibu??:smash: We all decided to turn back:ughug: and by the time we made it, the lot was full and closed. Race/track and daily cars can get a pass for looking cool on rims with a drop.

Hard park contest cars need to do something more.
It literally looks like HIN light, ya know.
There is almost 0% creativity there.
No one is even trying to do anything new.
They took the dish rims from Japan and mixed it with the VW roof racks.
Slammed the car, shaved some badges and thats it.
Spent 6 months saving for some rims and called it "Hella Flush"
I am spending more in this month on my car for ASB-X then alot of those rims cost.

Its not about the money, its about what they do with it.
Some of the most unique looking cars end up being built for next to nothing.
Look at some of the Patina VW with the steelie dished rims.

if badgeless white cars, lowered on rims gets you off, then cool.
You prolly blow your load when they put on a bike rack, some sort of knot on the mirror and a stickered up lip.

I walk by and go, hmmm, neat.
and keep walking.
I mean shit, I am impressed none by any of them.

How to make a Hellaflush car:

1. Pick a car, any car
2. Put a roof rack on it.
3. Put useless shit on it like a fixie that you don't ride, some tires you found, an ice cooler, or maybe even a toilet.
4. Don't forget the fairing for the roof rack to put a fuck load of stickers on.
5. Get some 20x14 -1000 wheels and put them on your car. (The more you poke, the more hellaflush)
6. Make sure your wheels are hella expensive too, if not, get some XXR's and paint them so no one can tell.
7. Lower the car: lowering, cut, or heated springs will do (Coilovers are for race cars).
8. Buy some JDM window visors.
9. Make sure you have some gaudy ass colors on your are. Neon pink, green, purple, orange are best.
10. Apply "illest" sticker.

You realize they are track cars?
The day Karl got his car out of paint, we ran 5 car tandem and in one run ended up hitting him with 3 cars. (front, rear, and i got his entire passenger side.)
Its normal damage to track cars, and just trying to repair them.
We dont have sponsors to fix the weekly/monthly damage.
So they look like they actually get used.

So I personally dont think its a good comeback, sorry.
But the Jabs at 626DRIFT were nice, lol.

The HellaFlush things is very old and played out style.
Modern Ricers have moved onto it.

The really nicely done cars are few and far between.

i've had this setup for years and it's form as well as function. i've drifted this e30 like crazy and have many dents lol. Taka Aono liked my car a lot when he drifted it at some private events as he said my car gets maad angles lol. i have coilovers and i've been against cutting springs or heating them since 1997. i love my e30! LOL


in any case, good times this weekend at HellaFlush V! it was awesome and i have nothing to complain about. i learned that everyone has their own taste which is what makes it interesting. some look alike, some are looking for more attention, but many are different to its own taste.

i have a roof rack. and i use it weekly. so it became a fad. now im "cool" . especially since i got it before them. my car isnt slammed because i daily drive it. and i scrape bad over speed bumps ass it is. i think its pointless to drop a car so low that it becomes a pavement eater. FUN and cool to look at though. thats another opinion.
