hey guys i need some help to install my hotshot header on my 95'.
the problem is in the heatshield. call me retarted if you want, but i cant figure out the socket size of the bolts holding the heatshield. thats problem 1.
problem 2. is it a good idea just to bend the heatshield carefully around EGR pipe and cut it around the oxygen sensor if i cant get the heatshield off? and just ubolt the header with heatshield (what remains of it) and pull it out?
anyone that did the heatshield uninstall through me some points.

how can you not figure out the size of the sockets on the heatshield... yes i will call you retarded! YOU ARE RETARDED!
Ok ill spoon feed this to you! on my s14 the heastshield bolts were 10mm.... i removed the o2 sensor then i just kinda fanangled it outta there! took a little work but it did come out without damaging anything!
that is all i know seeing as how i havent put an aftermarket header on my car! hope that helps you ya lazy

yup its official... you are retarded! 10mm for heatshield. I also saved you the time of actually writing another post asking the bolt size of the manifold itself, its 14mm. oh and your car takes regular gas not diesel. pedal on right is gas, middle is brake, and far left is clutch. just in case you are too lazy to find that out for yourself as well! enjoy!:bash:

thats what i said. i tried 10mm before it didnt work, prb because bolt was damages and kept slipin.

if the bolt has rusted or swelled you can take a file and grind back the edges a little. I had to do this with an exhaust bolt.
