View Full Version : sr hatch w/t28 vs. 04acura cl-s stock or any stock Z

hi guys, my friend keeps saying that his CL-S could beat me up but we never had time for race maybe we will race during this summer. i really want to know if i will be beat ugly now?

the CL-S has a V6 3.2 engine, which is 280HP. FWD. stockish. should have more torque than mine especially at low RPM.

my s13 has a T28 @10psi, fmic, kaaz 2way lsd, 3in exhaust, 370cc injec, stock ECU, 195/60/15 all around. maybe 240HP i think.

so, what you guys think if i race with a stock CL-S or a stock 350Z, assuming we are good driver.

have you guys ever race with a Z on track or street/freeway? id never. too bad.

With a t28 equip sr, you can beat sound.

ive raced two 350z's with simple bolt ons(exhaust/intake) and one we ran neck and neck and the other i pulled on slightly each race(i think he was just a really bad driver tho)... im running a sr20det, basic bolts on @stock boost....

s13 or s14 SR you had(red or black)? they are different. you are pretty cool though*(with the bad Z driver lol).

i have a s13 sr20det (redtop)....dude he was a bad driver, i felt embarrased for him...

Well.. back in the day, with basic bolt ons like fmic, full exhaust, etc... and slightly wider street tires than what you have, I managed to tap high 13s with a t25 on 7psi. Put down around 220whp, if I recall correctly. So if they're stock or close to stock, you "should" be able to pull away atleast by 3-4th gear. Oh and keep it on the track :)
