Here's a link to the build thread, if you want to read through it all to see how far the car has come in the last year.

180sx build thread... - Tampa Racing (http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/nissan-builds-projects/580019-180sx-build-thread.html)

Tentatively SOLD. I'll repost/update if anything changes.

NO TRADES. NO TRADES. NO TRADES. Forgot to add, this really needs to be gone ASAP because I need to be out of my current garage... if I have to find a place to store it, I'm just going to end up keeping it. If you have a reasonable cash offer, send it my way in a PM.

:)

Thanks,
Sean

Not sure if I made it clear or not, but this is a 1991 240sx with a firewall swap. No VIN swapping or anything sketchy to get a real 180sx legal. This is a USDM chassis :)

it's the "jdm" factor, you wouldn't understand. haha.

maybe he used to live in Japan and feels more comfortable driving/drifting a RHD car. If I ever move back to the states I will ship most of my silvia stuff, buy a 240 shell and make it RHD...that is what I am comfortable with and enjoy drifting rhd more than lhd...personal preference. dont flame the guy for it. clean build, looks like your missing a ps/brake line or something on the firewall though. Do you have any pics of how you cut your firewall/welded it? GLWTS!

that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard i mean i can understand y skylines r so coveted up here because people want a car that not many people have but y would u want to rice your car to loook like a jap car and on top of it make it harder to drive. being rhd doesnt make it any faster or prettier. well i guess the reason y he did it is the same reason y you are reffering to it as jdm instead of just a jap car.

A. The car is sold. Not for $12k or $14k those were just prices I listed that the average person could find on most of those parts if you wanted to build the car yourself. My asking price was $8500, I got pretty close to that.

B. I did RHD because I bought a front clip and it was free. Did it myself. The $1k next to it would be a rough price you'd pay a shop to do a RHD swap on your car (I think, but I've never really asked any shops how much to do it...) And yes, driving RHD in America really isn't that hard if you're not a complete moron.

And thanks man. I appreciate a compliment coming from a guy with one of my favorite cars on Zilvia :) I remember your RHD swap from years ago!

Sorry, missed this post. Not sure what you think is missing, but it's all there. I just pulled whatever was on the clip off and put it on my car. There's only one brake line on the firewall, goes from the master to the front right caliper? The clutch line doesn't run up there anymore like on the USDM car because the line shoots straight down from the master to the slave. The p/s lines run under the motor?

*edit, shit there is some sort of an evap vent line that used to run up there under the brake line... and yes I did remove that.
