i have a 96 240sx.

my window switch stopped working for my driver side but my passenger side window still works.

i replaced the whole switch in the door and that did nothing

i was told to replace the amp , i took the door panels off of both sides and can not locate the amp , it is not on niether door!

if anyone has any idea of if someone b4 relocated the amps or if they replaced it with a different amp or any input at all i am very confused!

Do you know what the amp looks like?

it should be a small white box with a harness plugged into it.

u might have a bad motor
feed the motor directly with 12volts via drill battery works

if it does not move you have a dead motor

then i can fix it for $40 :)

any cordless drill battery or your car battery

use wire lol

its 2 pin any ground and power in any order/position

it will either go up or down
if you get no response then the motor is dead
