correct me if im wrong, but for the sr swap, there is only one harness change correct? im leaving in my dash harness and the left harness that corrects to the front lights and the fuse box and battery. The right harness im changing out with my SR harness then repinning the ECU. if this is wrong please correct me, thanks!

ok if you are swapping an s14 sr into an s14, you only have to modify 1 plug to get the car to run. thats is the f4 plug, the white plug with the grey locking lever, that is near the ecu, it plugs into the dash (m63 plug) on the 240sx. all you do is depin that white plug and repin it to match up the functions on the 240sx. there are a few wires that need to be soldered but not much. the only other thing that needs to be done is the wiper motor and wiper amp plugs. just cut the sr plugs off the amp and motor and re attach the ka wiper and amp plugs matching the colors. (but the car will start without that). im about to post my notes and notes ive found online, its not too complicated.

that plug on the ka harness is called the f3 plug( you dont need the KA one unless you want to cut off both KA and SR plugs and connect the sr wires to the KA plug instead of repining but repining is much easier and cleaner i think.
this is the pinout for the sr f4 plug

basically you look at this diagram and find as many corresponding functions as you can on the Ka f3 pinout which is this one

and you do all of this by viewing it from the wires side, the picture above is an example of that. only other thing i can think of is there are 2 blue plugs near the ecu on the sr harness, those are for relays, there is one on your 240 already that you can use but you need to find another blue one (junk yard is where i got mine) these are for the ecu relay, and injectors/coilpacks i think

this is a picture of the f3 and m63 plug on my 1997 240sx, that is where the f4 plug from the sr harness plugs into after it has been re-wired or re-pinned

basically this file tells you what you need to do, the only thing is, the repined f4 plug picture is viewed from the plug side, basically just look at what he has and flip it (everything on the bottom goes on the top and vice versa) i had to dig thru the FSM to findout it was fipped.

wiring wise thats all you need to know, other than extending the o2 sensor and Maf sesnor wire. but you can find info on that everywhere.

pm me or email me (
[email protected]) if you have any questions i'll do my best to help you, but just letting you know i havent even installed my harness yet, but i have verified all this info with 2 working s14sr in s14 swaps, and this is correct. but FYI most f4 pinout digrams online are backwards, the image i posted earlier was edited in paint to be correct.
