Albert Einstein wasnt athiest
truth. he wasn't a christian, but he wasn't an atheist.
I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it. (Albert Einstein, 1954)
and yes THAT JUST HAPPENED!

"I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangements of the books, but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God."- The World As I See It by Albert Eistein
its a good book, highly recommended

So... Religion is not a topic may people willingly speak about due to the negative perceptions.
We do live in the USA where you have the right to believe any damn thing you want and give it a name (usually ends with "ic" or "ist").
Budda and Ghandi were real human beings whom in-lightened themselves with freedom of thought.
Koran/ Bible.... its a proven fact that its several stories from all over the world by various authors... most of it is copied, translated, and taken out of context by the next. Give it a rest... its the oldest form of civil rights and Law... done.
Ponder this... Its impossible to travel at the speed of light because time will hold you back. Yes, If you had all the time in the world you couldn't ever go the speed of light. Say you were able to travel that 99.9% of the speed of light... you would be dead before you reached the end of our universe... you would die before you reached Andromeda, our closest galaxy. So even if Life was posable on another planet it would take them at least 2,500,000 light-years (thats 2,500,000 years traveling at the speed of light). If they sent message via a laser beam... by the time we received it, their civilization would be gone. Considering the earliest human was 60,000 years ago, and we have only had Space Technology for 53 years!
Yeah... were that smart. No shit we believe retarded stories from ancient man!

"In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what really makes me angry is that they quote me for the support of such views." The World As I See It by Albert Einstein

according to drakes equation there are possibly 10,000 intelligent civilizations in this galaxy alone, so who knows?

Doesn't matter in the slightest. I just find it strange that some one would need their own opinion about a personal belief validated by a dead guy.

Considering the Milky Way Galaxy is 120,000 LY wide and 8000 LY wide... its posable. Alpha Centauri is also 4.4 Light Years away! At a speed of 150,000 miles per hour from a passive Jupiter slingshot maneuver, it would take about 18,000 years... you would also have to slow down!

This is the Einstien quote I like... "The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weakness, the Bible a collection of honorable, but still purely primitive, legends which are nevertheless pretty childish."[ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Einstein#cite_note-82)

How could you possibly think this would be a civil conversation with the idiotic way you started it?
if you disagree, post here and i'll call you a jackass.
You never wanted a real conversation.
You were just bored, so you started yet another attention whoring, pointless thread.
The only reason I didn't close this stupid "conversation" after the first day of jackassery, was because an Admin stepped in and attempted to add some substance to the thread. After that I just ignored it altogether until now.
