should i buy? HELP

My 90 acura legend just died...and i am looking into 240's i've been wanting for a while now...just waiting til the acura died...so the 240s im looking are a 1995 red with 90,000 miles for $5500 and a 1995 black with 112,xxx miles for $6000. Both 5 spds. and are in good condition. But the black seems much nicer...interior and exterior. But does the asking prices seem overpriced? I'm nervous about getting such high mileage cars. How long do typical 240s last...if treated right of course. If the engines blow, of course i would want an SR20..but i need it to last quite a while, while i save up my funds. I am only 17 with an average teenage job...lol. Any comments and suggestions will be a appreciated.

I bought my '96 with 95k on it for $4500 (that was a great deal tho). The red price sound reasonable but attempt to talk him down. If its a SE model then its probably worth close to 5500.

Personally Id take black over red any day, but $6000 does seem a tad pricey for a '95 with over 100k. If its a SE with great paint, great interior, and no issues then I could possiblly justify $6000.

if the paint is in good condition on black i would take it, 20,000 miles difference on a 240sx dont make a fawk. if you want to REALLY know, take both cars to a shop to do a used car inspection (like 50 bucks) they can prety much make a choice for you.

if the car you choose is in great shape it will last long, just TAKE CARE of it. especially nissan.:coolugh:

$6k sounds like the blue book on the black. SE or not is the question.
$3500 is what mine cost. Black 1995 SE, JVC 40X4 Deck, 4 10" MA Audio Amps in sealed boxes (which BTW are going to be for sale pretty soon), 2 1 farad caps, MA Crossover, aftermarket tweets (2pr.), 2 MA AMPS (i forget model #s), 1 4x75w boss amp, the point is slammed car with 128,000 miles with all of the records up to date. Kid was going to the airforce and did not need it anymore. Signed over as a gift for title purposes. Cool deal overall. The eagle II goodyears have less than 3k used on them.
Have a lemon checked look into it, or if you do it yourself, go for it.
