i've got a pair of tan leather seats that im trying to color change to black, they are in perfect shape and i dont want to reupholster them. has anyone used any of those material specific paints? pros and cons?how well do they hold, ie, do they scratch easy or crack off?

if your not worried about spending money theres people that will die them any color you want. or try to do it your self but idk how hard that is.

I have had success with the interior fabric and cloth paint, just use multiple coats and make sure when you are done let it dry, and wash it out so it is not stiff and hard.

right on, i figured that since leather sweats and emits oils it might not completely adhere to the material.

its not going to come out right if its on leather. maybe i did it wrong but i did it once on some leather seats and it got sticky and held moisture really unpleasantly. It stains alot of stuff too, i suggest getting a professional color change
