I wanted to rent it but none of the blockbusters by me carry it. I'm not sure i it's worth buying or not. What do you guys think that have it?

i say if you got the money buy it if you like kinda of arcady racing games... not that ist totaly unrealistic but its a bit off....either way it was fun

the car selection is awesome and the upgrades like c-west body kits and other genuine parts are pretty fun to paly around with ...i found the races to be really easy at first but at a certain level...level 4 i think they get prety hard..but by that time i had to give the game back :P

If i had a PS2 0f my own i would have bought it..but i guess i'll just have to keep playing Gran tourismo 2, STILL THE BEST RACING GAME EVER!!!!!

damn that was a long review

Sniff...sniff, the game was pretty sick. That is until my son broke it yesterday (3yr.old), poor kid wanted to play but doesen't have the dexterity to push the black cd release button and pulled hard on one side.

Back to the game. Real cartoony feel to it, good selection of cars (no s14s, damn) but the upgrade options are cool and pretty realistic as far as companies names are concerned. Some slowdown in a few areas but still good solid gameplay. The music is O.K. with tunes ranging from techno drum-n-beat to some newage jazz. The online play is supposed to be badazz, but never tried. Upgrades are free in the one player and you can even swap engines (kinda cheezy, once swapped, no turbo, exhaust, ecu, or engine upgrades).
*** out of ***** stars, J/K :D

i think its fun to play. if youre looking for a simulation type game, stick to GT3, but if you want somethin thats fun to mess around with, id say give it a try. im still waiting to get it hooked up so i can play online, that sounds fun

I got bored with it in 1 hour. The racing is NOTHING like GT3, realisticly. Yea, the engine swaps are cool, but you can't upgrade anything after you do an engine swap. so you're stuck with 300hp. Also, 350hp N/A KA24DE?????? wha? game is pretty cool, but it's obvious why the video stores didn't buy it. the ones by me don't have it either.

This video store rental thing must be a nation wide trend cuz they dont carry it at any of the vidoe stores by my house either. And I checked Blockbuster and Hollywood Video too. :(

Oh well, I'm a racing game junkie anyways, so I'll probably just end up buying it.

Yea I'm bored of GT3 right now( cause im like 97% done), and i really wanted to play a new GOOD racing title. Maybe I'll just wait til I get the network adapter and can play online cause I heard thats were all the meat and potatoes was. I love how the game looks though. I wish i could find a fresh *** pic of a s13 from the game for a backround om my computer.

I pre-ordered it bout a month before it came out, thinking it was going to be like GT3 with alot of tracks and stuff. Its okay to rent, if you want to buy it, wait till it comes down in price, cause its super easy, only took 2hrs to beat. If I were you stick to GT2(best game ever) or GT3.Unless you get a network adapter to play online, then it gets challenging, Theres my $0.02
