Hello everyone,

So my first project on my car is converting it from 4-Lug to 5-Lug. I just finished doing the front drivers side wheel, and now I am working on the front passenger side.

This is a stupid question but which direction do I turn the breaker bar when removing the wheel bearing lock nut. At this moment, we are trying to turn it, by convention, counterclockwise. However, we had like five different dudes trying to turn it and it won't even budge.

Does the same convention go for the passenger side wheel lock? The reason for asking is because I do not want to turn it clockwise and tighten it even more.

All help will be appreciated. It has been a long day just trying to remove the s**tty-over-torqued-broken-lock-key lug nuts.

Still counterclockwise dude. Keep trying.

Got it. We had to heat it a little and give it one hard push. It was counterclockwise. The PO over-torqued everything!
