was just wondering how much coolant does the radiator suck in/spit out during the car running time. I know the stock one is about 2L in volume, but i'm pretty sure it doesn't use up all of that. I want to replace it with a smaller one. Will a 1L work or will that be too small?? Thanx

Mine, in hard driving conditions stays within a pint (1/2 quart) or close to a half litre.
1 Litre should work fine.
Their is some suck and blow..if water level gets to low,(pressure too high) you can explode the tank if the vent is clogged..happened on the Nissan truck once.
Silvias, 1L should be within tolerance.
If not, you will simply know soon enough!

well i broke down and went to advance auto parts to see if they have anything. In the end i spent $7 and got myself a 1.5L coolant reservour which has moungint hardware and all the ****s i need to mount it. It even got a ricer style see through line so i could see the coolant lol :p. The only negative thing is that it doesn't fit and i have to move it to the other side which means my hose has to make a 180deg bend... oh well, i'll figure out something.
