I agree. The coupe looks better than the hatchback, but I could live with a hatch.
By the way, I sold my '92 coupe with 170,000km on it yesterday. A guy offered my $7,000 for it, when the car wasn't worth more than about $5,000. Can't pass that up, eh?
The main reason I caved into it was because here in Canada, the coupe only came in automatic. I want a 5 speed, so I'm gonna find a '91+ hatchback.

HAtchback is way sexier. CArries that traditional fastback styling of a sportscar.

Fastback is dead! Coupes and hatchs (civic/golf/matrix style hatch) are the wave of the future.

Fastbacks are the best looking S13's IMO. But that coupe does look nice...big turbo as well.

The coupe came in 5 speed also. I test drove a bunch before deciding on a fastback! Fastback rocks:)
I personally only like the coupe in Silvia form.

fastbacks are for men hahahahhahhahaha J/K but yes fastbacks rule plain and simple. Look at the S15 don't tell me its a coupe . thats a fast back .

huh? fastback implies the trunk and rear glass raises up with hydraulics.
The S15 is a coupe, just like the S14

I have a coupe and I like it..but I've never seen a coupe until the day I looked at a 240 in the Autotraders and bought it...I've just seen fastbacks/hatchbacks always..
But doenst matter...as long as its a 240..and a NISSAN..
But I personally dont like kits....just lowered and simple 15 or 16 rims and a Silvia front end conversion is good enough for me on the outside...now its the inside and the engine is what milks my cat....??

I love my hatchback, but I also like the coupes. I would have a hard time deciding between the two if I had the option of choosing one.

i originally loved the hatchbacks with the 180 lights. after i bought my coupe for 800 bucks slapped some cheap-o 17's rims that do look nice i was like wow! everyone at work said that carf kicks ass now in the looks department. i love the coupes. the fb are ok now only reason i woulda preferreed one all i would have to do is tailight conversion and a sr with the coupe i have to get the silvia front end and the sr so more money.
but imo the coupe is for me no need for everyone to start arguing
and who said s13 coupes are ugly?! *cocks gun*

no offense to all you coupe owners out there... but i think the huuuuuuuge trunk makes it hideous . . .fastback all the way . . .PeAcE

Huge trunk? The cars are exactly the same size.
EhMikE 90 240SX
03-02-2002, 10:28 PM
the trunk is longer
DJ Machine
03-02-2002, 10:37 PM
Longer than what?
btw, if i had to make one complaint about the coupe, itd be about the rear end being a tiny bit too square.

I'm gonna end all argument with this:
Fastback with a sub in the trunk sounds better than a coupe!! get up!

Hey, any idea where we can find this front bumper kit from, what company?

I like both. Both look really nice without wings. My friend has an 89 with a Silvia K's face and rear Silvia key badge, OMG, it's sweet. =O~~~
Erm, theres no difference between a J's, Q's and K's front panels in the silvia S13's. About the only difference is headlight arrays, of which there where about 3 different types as factory options, 3bulb projectors, 2bulb projectors with fog lights and twin square conventional headlights.- and of those none where restricted to J's, Q's or K's.
A guy in the club has a Q's with the same square headlamps as my K's.
Anyone to say my Silvia K's is an ugly coupe?
Its a lot of things but the last thing is ugly, more like a part of the late 80's early 90's memorobilia of 4cylinder turbos which had a build quality and technological leap forward far surpassing the early 80's beasts.
Heck, I get asked all the time if its a new car by people wondering if its some nissan model brought out that they havent seen before.
