** I can get additional pics if needed, and measure anything needed within a few days**

Background: did a manual conversion swap in a 95 s14. bought 2 driveshafts one complete unit, the other a front piece outa a 95 non abs s14. the front piece bolts perfectly and works fine for the car, but the complete unit ( referenced as 'W' from now on)is VISUALLY different and has a different bolt pattern where they join. so the pieces are NOT interchangable. the one in the car is a s14 non abs auto rear half and the manual 95 non abs front piece and where the 2 parts connect is 12mm bolts.

the COMPLETE unit 'W' bolts together with 14mm bolts.

Question: what is the complete driveshaft 'W' out of? if its just simple measuring I can redo if cant figure out from the pics.

**note: the splash guard has been removed from 'W', the one in question, it was there originally but was bent to hell**

so in this pic the one on top is the 95 non-abs front piece in the car currently, 'w' is shown on the bottom with the blue tape

here you can see the very different bolt pattern, and the one on the left is in the car and bolts to the auto non-abs rear half that the car had, 'w' on the right.

rear half of 'W' in question that ONLY bolts to the front half 'w' on the right in the pic above.

length of the rear half of shaft 'W' above (idk if it was measured correctly)

i figured just the bolt pattern will tell alot about 'W', but maybe I'm wrong. help pls, thanks in advance

ok, so how does one measure the front piece?

for the front half if i measure u joint center to center I get 415mm or 16.33".

if i measure inputshaft u joint to inner flange i get 447mm or 17.57".

overall length input tip to flange is 605mm or ~23.8".

either of these 2 measurements is about 0.25" off what the fsm says for AT or MT.

edit: and I'm still not understanding the 14mm bolts stated above.
