1996 240sx SE
135,xxx on the chassis
~78,xxx on the motor (KA24DE) GREAT compression, strong, and never boosted.
located in Wilmington
This car had been sitting for a bit and I have tried to sell it a few times but it is difficult to sell a car without an interior or working starter. I have now been driving it for over a month while I built my new car and have fixed several issues. It is now very reliable and enjoyable to drive.
The good:
Body:
-D2 coilovers
-Q45 front brakes (REALLY work well)
-stainless steel lines all the way around
-Porterfield R4s brake pads front and back (NEW)
-RUCA
-18"x9" Rota wheels in perfect shape
-Great tires with most of the tread remaining
Front: 225/40/zr18 Rear: Pilot 265/45/zr18
-Python Alarm/keyless entry w/ two remotes and keys
-Tinted windows (and thank god they both go up and down.)
-Battery in trunk
-Gorilla lug nuts and Extended lugs up front.
Engine:
-Jim Wolf tune ecu (for turbo)
-550cc injectors
-Cobra MAF
-Koyo aluminum radiator
-Flexalite dual shrouded electric fans. Could easily cool the sun.
-New OEM replacement clutch
-GREAT transmission, shifts like butter... or margarine. Your preference.
Exhaust:
Greddy Nur Spec stainless 3" turbo catback exhaust (not currently on car)
The exhaust on the car is straight piped after the first cat.
The Bad:
-I broke the damn pressure sensor off of the a/c drier. I have a new one sitting in the center console. It needs to be swapped out and the system recharged.
-The sunroof sits wonky when up. The right slider arm is missing. I have an entire working sunroof in a donor car if the buyer knows how to remove it and fix it. I simply stuffed a paper towel in that side and just din't use it, for the last 4 years.
-small dent in the front of the hood that can definitely be popped out.
-The front bumper is hollowed out for an intercooler and piping this is either a positive or a negative depending on your goals. Either way bumper supports are cheap.
-small leak that appeared after putting 5w30 in, I imagine this will either go away or get even smaller if it goes back to 10w30 haven't had to add oil all month but it there are drops on the ground from something. (not rear main seal, sure of that now.)
I have done a ton of work on this car in the last month.
All fluids replaced, I replaced the suspension with my new D2's (<15k miles) since the front shocks were toast on this cars, Energy suspension bushings on the tension rods, bought mounting brackets for the front bumper, adjusted the hood alignment, new interior, kick panel, have mats, etc, etc, etc... It now drives as well as my car and is pretty snazzy looking as well.

I am offering the car as it sits for 4,800 OBO I will also entertain fair trades or trades plus cash.
For the asking price I'll include an intercooler, aluminum piping, and a NISMO front strut tower bar. I also have most of a full turbo kit laying around and a lot of associated electronics so we can probably work something out if you are interested. All this car needs is a turbo manifold, downpipe, turbo, and wastegate to get boosting again. All of the hard work is already done.
